Camelia Nicolae(Biography)
Camelia Nicolae, PhD is currently the Assistant Professor at Internal Medicine and Cardiology Department, “Carol Davila†University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania. She has been working in the Coronary and Intensive Care Unit since graduation. In clinical activity, she was interested in diagnosis and treatment of acute coronary syndrome, acute cardiac failure and pulmonary thromboembolism. After the publication of the latest cardiology guidelines about stable coronary ischemic disease, she developed a constant interest in the high incidence and prevalence of this pathology “in real lifeâ€Â. Dr. Nicolae is constantly searching diagnostic solutions for early identification of coronary ischemic disease in different subgroups of general population with high cardiovascular risk, that don’t have a detailed approach accordingly to current protocols. In her career, she sustained and published over 70 scientific papers and original studies and in the last three years public conferences were mainly focused on stable coronary ischemic disease.
